Thread: The CoMpulsive Ressurection.

On behalf of Solid Stu, Pine Marten and Myself, I'd like to announce the resurrection of CoMpulsive Gaming in the Counter-Strike Source community.

We have banded together to bring you a new server to once again try populate and keep the CoMpulsive community thriving.

The current server IP: 63.208.142.82:27015

It (for the time being) will be located on the west coast, seeing as how the two paying the most for it, are living on the west coast. Once we re-gain a collection of dedicated community members, and some server Regulars, we will vote on changing the location and possibly getting another server.

The server running right now is a regular server, with no custom maps. When a new server is born it can be hard to get it populated, the best way to populate a server is to have it on popular maps with simple rules.

24/7 Dust2/office [2awps/1auto] type deal, that way it's not always an awp fest.

Another way to keep a server populated and popular, is to be kind, if someone rages out on you, keep your cool and just try defuse the situation, anyone wearing the CoMpulsive tag should act mature and follow these simple rules.

Last but not least, the most un-fun part, while the server is still new, please try spend time on it, even if there's no one there...it sucks, but it has to be done in order to draw people in. No one likes joining empty servers. If we have a few dedicated members to try get the intial spark, then it should fill up in no time.

This is definetly a great idea and I hope we can go forward with this. Thankyou to the guys putting in the effort to make this happen successfully.
