Yeah, Thought some of you might want to be able to watch some demos of professional matches from 2006 and earlier.

Hi source community, maybe you want to watch old css demos e.g. the dirtysecret CAL ban demo or you have great frags from demos that were recorded in 2005 or 2006 and you want to use them in a frag css movie...
use the following instructions on this page to view all css demos ever been made, the program and all commands in the console are the same like in original css_steam version, you can play against bots, watch old demos, record old frags... :

Install instructions:

look from which date the demo was recorded you want to watch,
install the CSS_Full_07-07-2005_DIGITALZONE.exe and update the game with the patches to the date the demo was recorded (every patch is named as an update date)

Example:
i want to watch the awesome EFG Warmaschine vs. Spectrum demo: GotFrag eSports - Counter-Strike Source Demo - Warmach1ne vs Spectrum
This demo was recorded April 2006!

1.First of all i install the CSS_Full_07-07-2005_DIGITALZONE.exe
2.Then i install the following patches: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 (because this patches updates the game to date 04/13/2006 so that the demo can work)
3.Start the digitalzone game, type in console: playdemo "Warmach1ne_vs_spectrum.dem"
4. Enter -----> enjoy!
(5.) Install the texture fix if you have puple walls or bugs in custom maps like de_contra or cpl_mill
