Thread: Problem. And I cant play source.

I cannot play source for even 5 minutes right now. It will either freeze up and I have to restart, or it will give me the hl2.exe error and close out of source. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and even lowering video settings, and it still does it.

I have no clue what is going on as it was working fine 2 days ago or so.


Help would be appreciated if you know anything about this.

the only thing i can think of is back up your maps and uninstall steam
and reinstall, if possible can you post a screenshot of the error so i can see

yeah it's usually steams fault, try starting it without steam. just click the css icon which should be shortcutted on your desktop.
